Welcome to the 3RD annual AUSTIN FIREFIGHTERS OUTREACH FUND CRUISE Sunday, August 9, 2009 through Sunday, August 16, 2009 sailing from Galveston, Texas aboard the fantastic Carnival Cruise ship CONQUEST. Everyone is encouraged to join Austin Firefighters on this exciting and fun filled 7-day cruise, which is a major fund raising event for the Austin Firefighters Outreach Fund. Recruit your family, friends and neighbors to join us on this cruise. We have a limited number of cabins at special group rates that includes
a $50 per person donation to the fund. Additionally, Paradise Vacation and Travel Co. is donating $50 per cabin.
The Best of Both Worlds - by combining the excitement of an all new 7-Day Eastern Caribbean Cruise itinerary, the luxury of Carnival's Cruise ship CONQUEST and while raising funds for the Austin Firefighters Outreach Fund, you will experience a memorable week of celebration and relaxation. This special new itinerary is designed to include new ports of call. There will only be 11 opportunities in 2009 to sail to these ports from Galveston and we have secured discounted cabins for the Austin Firefighters Outreach Fund.

If you have never been on a cruise before, it is time to stop dreaming and start looking forward to all the delicious dining, exotic destinations, exciting entertainment, casino action, and pampering service you will experience on the Carnival Conquest. We have made it easier and more affordable than ever to cruise with our program whereby you can make installment payments either directly to Paradise Vacation and Travel Co. or by payroll deduction for members of Local 975 after your application and deposit are received. We are offering 5 different categories of cabin accommodations. The Inside, Outside, and Balcony category require a $125 per person deposit and the Suite and Penthouse category require a $300 per person deposit. *(Additionally, any triple or quad occupancy cabins require a $300 per person deposit to reserve your cabin.) A total of $300 per person must be paid in by February 28, 2009 and full payment is due by May 15, 2009.

EVERYONE MUST HAVE A VALID PASSPORT WITH THEM FOR CHECK-IN, SAILING AND TO RE-ENTER THE UNITED STATES IN GALVESTON. All guests must pre register for their FUN PASS on line no later than 3 days prior to sailing and present the required citizenship documentation at embarkation. Failure to pre register and or have proper documentation with you will result in denied boarding and no refund. Passengers under 21 years old must sail with their parents or legal guardian.

** 3rd and 4th Passenger Rates are based on availability at the time you submit your application and deposit. Single occupancy cabins are price at 200% (less $99 tax).
OPTIONAL VACATION PROTECTION PLAN (insurance) is highly recommended to protect your vacation and cruise investment. Details and an application form will be provided.
A COMPLETED CRUISE APPLICATION FORM ALONG WITH YOUR REGISTRATION DEPOSIT OF $125.00 PER PERSON *($300.00 PER PERSON FOR SUITES, TRIPLE AND QUAD CABINS) IS REQUIRED TO CONFIRM YOUR CABIN RESERVATION. PAYMENTS TOTALING $300.00 PER PERSON ARE REQUIRED BY FEBRUARY 15, 2009. FULL AND FINAL PAYMENT IS DUE BY MAY 15, 2009. ACCOUNTS WILL BE CHARGED ON A MONTHLY INSTALLMENT BASIS.
If you are using a credit card, you will see the deposit charge on your statement as Paradise Vacation and Travel Co. All additional credit card charges will appear as Carnival Cruise Lines. If you are paying by check, please make your check payable to PARADISE VACATION AND TRAVEL CO., INC. Final payment is due by MAY 15, 2009. If you are paying by credit card, your scheduled payments will automatically be charged to your credit card when due. Local 975 members will have payroll deductions applied to their accounts after your initial deposit.
PENALTIES AND CANCELLATIONS:
Before May 15, 2009 no penalty for cancellation, after May 15, 2009 and before June 30, 2009 a penalty of $350.00 per person for cancellations, after June 30, 2009 and before July 31, 2009 a penalty of 50% of your vacation package cost is assessed, and after July 31, 2009, no refund for cancellations or missed sailings. Penalties apply to all guests in a cabin and are assessed in the event of either a partial or full cabin cancellation.
A fee for one name change is assessed after June 30, 2009. ALL CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES MUST BE IN WRITING AND RECEIVED BY PARADISE VACATION AND TRAVEL CO. to be effective. It is the traveler's responsibility to have the proper travel documentation (valid passport) and to arrive at the respective ports on time for scheduled sailings. If you miss a sailing, it is your responsibility to arrange passage to the next port. Carnival Cruise Lines and Paradise Vacation and Travel Co. reserves the right to refuse passage to anyone deemed a safety risk. Please advise on the application if you are NOT a United States citizen.
