Welcome to the fifth annual GREAT GRAPES OF TEXAS WINE TASTING CRUISE Sunday, February 25 through Sunday, March 4, 2007 sailing from Galveston, Texas aboard CARNIVAL’S FUNSHIP CONQUEST, a newer, larger ship with balcony cabins, exciting entertainment and three ports of call. Texas is home to many fine wineries and we are pleased to offer the opportunity to sail with the owners of ALAMOSA WINE CELLARS & TEXAS HILLS VINEYARD, two wineries who are taking Texas wines to a new level with their Mediterranean style wines. You will sail with Karen and Jim Johnson of Alamosa and Kathy and Gary Gilstrap of Texas Hills, owners and winemakers. The Johnsons and Gilstraps will conduct 3 wine seminars - tasting on Monday, Tuesday and Saturday.

7 DAY WESTERN CARIBBEAN CRUISE (you must bring a valid Passport):
- Sunday, February 25, 2007 - arrive in Galveston, Texas between Noon and 2:00PM for embarkation on Carnival’s Conquest. If you are driving, parking is available for approximately $10 per day. Ship sails at 4:00PM.
- Monday, February 26, 2007 - a day at sea with the 1st seminar featuring Alamosa & Texas Hills Wines of the World proving how Texas Stars shine bright.
- Tuesday, February 27, 2007 - a day at sea with the 2nd seminar “Match em” Food & Wine Pairings a guided tasting including world class wines & foods.
- Wednesday, February 28, 2007 - we arrive in Montego Bay, Jamaica at 8:00AM at which time you may go ashore to enjoy the beauty of this carefree island. There are many activities and sights to see. You may now pre-reserve island tours on line or at the tour desk on the Conquest. They will assist you with information and making reservations for escorted island tours. There is also the opportunity for the golf lovers to get in a round of 18 holes before you must be back on board by 5:30PM.
- Thursday, March 1, 2007 - we arrive in Grand Cayman at 7:00AM at which time you will want to take the opportunity to go ashore and experience this fantastic island. The Conquest sails at 4:00PM for Mexico.
- Friday, March 2, 2007 - 9:00AM we arrive at the island of Cozumel, Mexico at which time you may go ashore to visit some of the ancient Mayan ruins or shop for that special gift to bring home. Ship sails at 6:00PM.
- Saturday, March 3, 2007 - will be the third day at sea to celebrate our new friendships and share stories about our shore excursions. Our group will have our final get-together…..a Wine Party! You’ll have one more chance to enjoy the wines from Alamosa and Texas Hills with party foods from the CONQUEST. This is a great time for group photos.
- Sunday, March 4, 2007 - the Conquest arrives back in Galveston around 8:00AM. Generally, debarkation will take approximately two hours.
The group will have the 8PM assigned dining time each day. Other meals are open seating.
YOU MUST HAVE VALID PASSPORT PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP. This is the only current acceptable form of identification TO ENTER AND LEAVE THE UNITED STATES. Missed sailings are the responsibility of the individual who have missed the sailing.

Included in the price of this fifth annual cruise, are your cabin assignment, all meals and snacks, entertainment, government taxes and fees as well as the wines and foods served during the three wine get together. All other alcoholic beverages served on the cruise are purchased from Carnival Cruise Lines and are not included in the cost of your cruise. The cruise rate is per person double occupancy (two people sharing one cabin). Not included in the cost of your cruise is travel insurance (an application will be sent to you), gratuities to your cabin steward, waiter and assistant waiter which are automatically charged to your sign and sail account, soft drinks, parking, transportation to Galveston and items of a personal nature. It is the traveler’s responsibility to have the proper travel documents (passport), and for arriving at the respective ports on time for scheduled sailings. If you miss a scheduled sailing, it is your responsibility to arrange passage to the next port. Carnival reserves the right to refuse or discontinue passage to anyone who is considered a safety risk.

GRATUITIES of $70 per person are automatically charged to your sign and sail account (a personal credit card will be required to board the ship)
TRAVEL PROTECTION (highly recommended) an application will be sent to you with your confirmation. This application must be mailed directly to the insurance company within 15 days of your deposit.
TO GUARANTEE A CABIN, A COMPLETED CRUISE APPLICATION FORM ALONG WITH YOUR $300.00 PER PERSON DEPOSIT PAYMENT IS DUE BY SEPTEMBER 22, 2006. CABINS ARE LIMITED AND ARE ON A FIRST COME BASIS. If you are using a credit card, you will see the charge on your statement as Paradise Vacation and Travel Co. If you are paying by check, please make your check payable to PARADISE VACATION AND TRAVEL CO. FINAL PAYMENTS ARE DUE BY DECEMBER 6, 2006.
PENALTIES AND CANCELLATION:
Before September 22, 2006 no penalty for cancellation, after September 22, 2006 and before December 6, 2006 a penalty of $100 per person for cancellations, after December 6, 2006 and before January 22, 2007 a penalty of 50% of your cruise cost is assessed, and after January 22, 2007 there is no refund for cancellations or missed sailings. Penalties apply to all guests in a cabin and are assessed in the event of either a partial or full cabin cancellation. There is a $100 fee to change names after December 6, 2006.
