Welcome to the fourth annual GREAT GRAPES OF TEXAS WINE TASTING CRUISE
Saturday, January 14 through Thursday, January 19, 2006 sailing from Galveston, Texas aboard CARNIVAL'S FUNSHIP ECSTASY, a newer, larger ship with balcony cabins, exciting entertainment and two ports of call. Texas is home to many fine wineries and we are pleased to offer the opportunity to sail with the owners of ALAMOSA WINE CELLARS & TEXAS HILLS VINEYARD, two wineries who are taking Texas wines to a new level with their Mediterranean style wines. You will sail with Karen and Jim Johnson of Alamosa and Kathy and Gary Gilstrap of Texas Hills, owners and winemakers. The Johnsons and Gilstraps will conduct a wine seminar and tasting on Sunday and Wednesday.

5 DAY WESTERN CARIBBEAN CRUISE:

Saturday, January 14, 2006 arrive in Galveston, Texas between Noon and 2:00PM for embarkation on Carnival's Fun Ship Ecstasy. If you are driving, parking is available from either Dolphin Parking or the Port of Galveston in their lots for approximately $10 per day. Ship sails at 4:00PM.

Sunday, January 15, 2006 enjoy your day at sea with the first of the wine tasting seminars.

Monday, January 16, 2006 we arrive in Cozumel, Mexico at 9:00AM at which time you may go ashore to enjoy the beauty of the carefree island. There are many activities and sights to see. You may now pre-reserve island tours on line or the tour desk on the Ecstasy will assist you with information and making reservations for escorted island tours. There is also the opportunity for the golf lovers to get in a round of 18 holes before you must be back on board by 10:00PM.

Tuesday, January 17, 2006 we arrive in Calica/Playa del Carmen, Mexico at 7:00AM at which time you will want to take the opportunity to go ashore and visit some of the ancient Mayan ruins or shop for that special gift to bring home. Ship sails at 4:00PM.

Wednesday, January 18, 2006 will be the second day at sea to enjoy the second wine seminar and tasting. This will be a good time to put in those orders with the vineyards for your favorite selections.

Thursday, January 19, 2006 we arrive back in Galveston, Texas for debarkation beginning around 8:00AM. Generally, debarkation will take approximately two hours.

The group will have the 8PM assigned dining time each day. Other meals are open seating.

YOU MUST HAVE PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP (either a passport or an original/certified birth certificate along with a government issued photo identification) TO ENTER AND LEAVE THE UNITED STATES.
Missed sailings are the responsibility of the individuals who are late for the sailing.

GREAT GRAPES OF TEXAS WINE TASTING CRUISE

Included in the price of this fourth annual cruise, is your cabin assignment, all meals and snacks, entertainment, government taxes and fees as well as the wines served during the two wine tasting. All other alcoholic beverages served on the cruise are purchased from Carnival Cruise Lines and are not included in the cost of your cruise. The cruise rate is per person double occupancy (two people sharing one cabin). Not included in the cost of your cruise is travel insurance (an application will be sent to you), gratuities to your cabin steward, waiter and assistant waiter which are automatically charged to your sign and sail account, soft drinks, parking, transportation to Galveston and items of a personal nature. It is the traveler's responsibility to have the proper travel documents (such as a passport), and for arriving at the respective ports on time for scheduled sailings. If you miss a scheduled sailing, it is your responsibility to arrange passage to the next port. Carnival reserves the right to refuse or discontinue passage to anyone who is considered a safety risk.

ADDITIONAL ITEMS:
GRATUITIES of $50 per person are automatically charged to your sign and sail account (a personal credit card will be required to board the ship)
TRAVEL PROTECTION (highly recommended) an application will be sent to you with your confirmation. This application must be mailed directly to the insurance company within 15 days of your deposit.

TO GUARANTEE A CABIN, A COMPLETED CRUISE APPLICATION FORM ALONG WITH YOUR REGISTRATION DEPOSIT OF $250 PER PERSON IS DUE BY AUGUST 31, 2005. FULL AND FINAL PAYMENT IS DUE BY OCTOBER 31, 2005. If you are using a credit card, you will see the charge on your statement as Paradise Vacation and Travel Co. If you are paying by check, please make your check payable to PARADISE VACATION AND TRAVEL CO.

PENALTIES AND CANCELLATION:
Before August 31, 2005 no penalty for cancellation, after August 31, 2005 and before October 31, 2005 a penalty of $200 per person for cancellations, after October 31, 2005 and before November 30, 2005 a penalty of 50% of your cruise cost is assessed, and after November 30, 2005 there is no refund for cancellations or missed sailings. Penalties apply to all guests in a cabin and are assessed in the event of either a partial or full cabin cancellation. There is a $100 fee to change names after October 31, 2005. No name changes after November 30, 2005.
